Tony is doing great. When he first got here, he was very nervous. He didn't want to go up the stairs or anything. But now he rules the house!
He also tried to enjoy a diet of flip flops. But now the kids have learned to put their shoes away--yeah Tony!
He follows everyone around hoping for a treat or a little petting. He usually gets both. He is learning new things. Last night he learned to
"lie down". I tried teaching him to roll over. He did it once. But he usually gets on his back and then wants his belly rubbed. That's his
favorite thing in life. He loves family movie nights because we watch TV and rub his tummy. Then he'll lie down next to Karl. It's so cute.
He loves to sit at Kayla's feet under the table while Kayla does her homework. Again-it's so cute!
Tony is learning to walk on the leash and not to pull us all over. He is best with my husband, Rodger, but he is learning to listen to all of us.
I think he still likes walking with Rodger better though. I take him on the sidewalk with the kids. Rodger takes him on the common area grass and
if it's hot, he lets him cool off with a dip in the pond.
Tony is really funny. My oldest son can come in late at night, and Tony won't bark. Won't even make a noise. Kind of like "Oh it's you." But if he
wants to play "chase," he will bark his fool head off. You would think then that someone is breaking in or something. He loves having us chase him
around the house. He is also getting better with fetch. But still, belly rubs are his number one thing.
Thank you for our Tony
