Harley (formerly Wilson),

I adopted a wonderful little dog from your shelter in July and the whole experience was excellent. I came to meet him on a Saturday and was impressed with the staff, volunteers, and the facility in general. I was equally impressed when I picked him up.

I adopted a 4 year old black and tan Chihuahua, named Wilson by his lovely foster mom Sue. His name has since been changed to Harley, but he retains Wilson as his middle name in honor of Sue.

He was described as a sweet little guy and he truly is that. I took him to my local vet for his follow-up after adoption and he is healthy, although not crazy about getting his nails clipped! He is eating well and has gained 1.5 Ibs. I have lost 5 Ibs, probably due to our walks. Everyone is his friend, and he has adapted very well to his new home.

I feel very lucky to have been selected to adopt him and will always be grateful for organizations like yours, and to foster parents like Sue.
