Taylor

Taylor, living once again at C.A.R.E. after a big disappointment in his young life, didn't give up hope finding his perfect forever home. Four years ago, as a cute few-weeks-old tiny kitten, he charmed every visitor who wanted to cuddle and pamper him. He had no problem finding an adopter and at the age of 3 months, he moved to his new home. Unfortunately for Taylor, he didn't stay small, cuddly and dependent forever. He outgrew his kittenhood and became less dependent. After having had a home for three years, his adopter brought him back to C.A.R.E., claiming unforeseen stress within the family.

Although feeling dejected and heartbroken in returning to a shelter life, Taylor knew he was in good hands while waiting for his perfect home. He didn't have to wait too long. Paula Karas, browsing the local newspapers for a cat to adopt, saw C.A.R.E.'s ad. Paula had moved with her cat Jasmine to the Tampa Bay area, and Jasmine was not happy about the move. She needed a companion to forget her troubles, and she wanted a cat brother.

Paula visited C.A.R.E., and Taylor, purring and purring, won her heart. She adopted him, and he turned out to be the perfect companion for Jasmine. Taylor and Jasmine have become best buddies, and even though a little bit jealous at times, Jasmine allows Taylor to share their mom's bed with her.

Taylor enjoys his new life. He has a good appetite, learned quickly to use the kitty window to go outside for recreation and likes to spend the day napping on Mom's computer chair.
